What is Well-Being?

Well-being appointments are designed to explore the factors that may be contributing to imbalance, stress, or disconnection from your health. Together, we take a thoughtful, collaborative approach to understanding what your body may need in order to feel more supported, resilient, and well.

We will first look into your foundation, the determinants of health:

  • Nutrition and physical activity

  • Breath and nervous system regulation

  • Restorative sleep

  • Interpersonal relationships and community

  • Spiritual connection, purpose, and intention

  • Genetic or constitutional factors

Next, if appropriate, we may incorporate laboratory testing to investigate potential root causes of imbalance or illness.

Finally, we will create a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs, values, and goals, which may include a combination of:

At this naturopathic medical practice, we honor the body's innate capacity to heal and recognize the inseparable connection between body, mind, and spirit.

A well-being appointment not only helps you find solid ground, but also provides you with a guide, an advocate, and a partner in your health.

FAQs

  • Initial visits are 90 minutes to allow time for a thorough intake, review of your health history, and collaborative goal setting. This initial visit additionally includes a no additional-charge 30 minute treatment plan review session. After that, follow-up appointments are usually 60-15 minutes, depending on your needs and the complexity of your care plan.

  • The number of appointments needed depends on your unique health concerns and how long they’ve been present. Some individuals experience meaningful improvements within a few visits, while others benefit from ongoing care over a longer period. Together, we’ll create a timeline that feels realistic, sustainable, and aligned with your goals.

You’ll leave with clear next steps and a sense of partnership in your healing journey.

  • At this time, we do not accept insurance for any of our services, including well-being appointments. While some flexible spending accounts (FSAs) or health savings accounts (HSAs) may reimburse for well-being appointments, we encourage you to check with your provider. If needed, we’re happy to provide documentation or a superbill for reimbursement purposes (please note there is a fee for superbill preparation), however, we cannot guarantee that services will be covered by your insurance provider.
